Women of the Bible

Eurodias.  her name is translated, " Good, prosperous" Happy Way or Course
She is a woman in the book of Philippians who must have been a cause of trouble in that Paul remembered to entreat her to agree in the Lord with Syntyche.  He thought that because they have labored side by side with him in the Gospel, they should be able to settle what ever differences lay between them- if the church would help them to do so. (Philippians 4:2)

Tamar A Woman in the Bible

Tamar Judah's Daughter-in-law

Another Woman of the Bible, her name is Tamra.  In the bible she is the wife of Er, the first born son of Judah. And Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, whose name was Tamar.  And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD slew him.

And Judah said unto Onan, Go in into your brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed (children) to your brother.  But Onan refused, and so the Lord slew him also.  So Judah told his daughter-in-law to wait until his third son Shelah become of age and she may have him for her husband.  But after the child grew, Judah did not keep his promise. As time went on, Judah's wife died, and it was told to Tamar ,so Tamar had to rise up and disguised herself as a harlot and went to where Judah was and tricked Judah into giving her seed. When it was known that Tamar was with child, it was told to Judah that she had played the harlot, and Judah demanded that Tamar be brought to him so that she can be burnt.  But Tamar was a ready for her father-in-law.

Sometimes a woman gotta do what a woman gotta do.  And because Tamar raised up, the linage of Jesus Christ continued on.
