The Horse Is Prepared for Battle - But Victory Belongs to the Lord — Proverbs 21:31

In biblical times, horses represented military strength, careful preparation, and confidence in battle. This proverb does not condemn preparation. The horse should be made ready, but preparation must never replace dependence upon God.

We can make plans, develop our abilities, and gather necessary resources, but none of these can guarantee victory. Deliverance belongs to the Lord. Our confidence must remain in His wisdom, protection, and power—not in our own strength.

Prepare faithfully for every challenge, but pray and trust God with the outcome. Use the wisdom and resources He has given you while remembering that your true security and victory come from the Lord.
