No Greater Joy Than Seeing My Children Walk in Truth — 3 John 1:4

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” — 3 John 1:4 KJV

The apostle John expressed the deep joy he experienced when he heard that his spiritual children were continuing to walk in God’s truth. Walking in truth means more than knowing Scripture—it means believing God’s Word, obeying His commandments, and allowing His truth to direct our daily conduct.

Parents, teachers, and spiritual leaders experience great joy when those they have taught remain faithful to God. Earthly success may bring temporary satisfaction, but seeing our children and those we have discipled living according to God’s Word brings a joy of eternal value.
