The Heavens Declare the Glory of God
Psalm 19
Let's translate the word " Declare", for a better understanding of Psalm 19. It reads, The heavens declare the glory of God; What do the heavens do? They declare. The word declare has several meanings, but the ones I want to focus on are these, show forth, speak, talk, tell (out), writer.
The heavens show forth, speak, talk, tell (out), writer. Now, what does the heavens do? They show forth, speak, talk, tell (out), writer. and according to scripture, they show forth, speak, talk, tell (out), and writer the glory of God.
If the Heavens speak, or tells us about the glory of God, then how did man get it twisted that the heavens speak about him and his day to day life?
How did man come to believe that the heavens speak about him? Man is reading himself in God's creation, he is reading the heavens as if it speaks about him. For instance, "My horoscope says for me today...Your horoscope....... Man is reading the heavens as if it tells about him, and he is stealing God's glory. The heavens do not speak about man they speak and tells us about the glory of God.
