Speak His Word Only shares with you another woman of the Bible. Here is another woman of the bible that we all need to be aware of the bible calls her, the " Strange Woman." Why is she called the strange woman and what makes her strange? To be strange means a thing is new to you, something that you have not known before. It's foreign to you. And church, we have to stop following after every strange thing.Because it looks good, it's flattering, and all the other churches are doing it or teaching it or saying it. We want to follow after everything new. But it is leading many straight into hell.
For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:
But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. Lest you should ponder the path of life, her ways are movable, that you can not know them.(Proverbs 5)
Listen church, the scripture says, "her ways are movable," that means that she is not stable, here today, gone tomorrow, we are so quick to run and follow something new, a new word, a new teaching, a new look, a new move, No! My bible tells me that God is the same, Yesterday, Today and Forever, heaven and earth will pass away, but the word will stand forever. The Word ain't moving it's the same throughout all generations.Wisdom, understanding, knowledge, discretion, will keep you from the strange woman, Proverbs says, My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow your ear to my understanding: That you may regard (to protect yourself) discretion, and that your lips may keep knowledge ( that you may protect yourself from your own evil imagination, evil thoughts, wickedness, intent, you intended to go down the straight and narrow, but you got off the path following after the strange woman.
Father God, I intercede on behalf of your people, I hedge up the way of all of your people that's been following after the strange woman, that they can't find their way back to her door, the path that leads to her house is grown over never to be found again, I bind up the flattering of her lips, that she is unable to speak in the ears of your people, her works are nullified and your words are the only words that they are able to hear and retain in their minds, the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding is operating among your people, In the name of Jesus,
